Don Quixote is from one of my favorite novels because the Don represents some of my own deeply held values: namely respect for others, a sense of right and wrong and willingness to stand up for what is right. Like him, I want to be a gentleman, and to champion the cause of justice which is my obligatory response.

I fancy myself as the Knight Errant. I am “Don Glenn;” a man who wants to continue strong and finish well. I recognize a hint of whimsicality in myself who can be like the Don, a knight fighting windmills, in essence creating my own realities. But I do know the difference in reality and the playfulness of fighting windmills.
